Yes. Like any quality humidor, an Afidano cabinet should be seasoned before you add cigars so the cedar reaches the correct moisture level. Fill the reservoir, let the unit run and stabilise for 24–48 hours, then load your collection. Seasoning stops the dry cedar from drawing moisture out of your cigars.

Afidano humidors range from 250 cigars in the compact L3 up to 2,200–3,000 cigars in the L8 and C8 flagships, with many sizes in between. Capacities assume standard ring gauges; boxes and larger gauges reduce the total.

Keep the temperature stable and below about 24 °C (75 °F) and humidity around 65–72%; beetles hatch and mould forms when conditions get too warm and damp. Afidano's HPR climate system holds both in range automatically and can alert you through the app, so conditions never drift into the danger zone.

HPR is Afidano's six-component humidity and temperature regulation system. It combines sensors, a compressor-based cooling circuit and controlled ventilation to hold the cabinet within 16–22 °C and 60–75%, at a tolerance of about ±1 °C and ±3% RH, for consistent, worry-free storage.

Afidano cabinets use a DC inverter compressor for active refrigeration rather than thermoelectric (Peltier) cooling. Compressor cooling holds temperature more reliably, including in warm rooms and during summer, which is why it is preferred for serious, long-term cigar storage.

Yes. Every Afidano humidor offers app control, so you can monitor and adjust temperature and humidity remotely and receive alerts. Most models also offer on-unit control via a screen knob, electronic panel or touch panel, depending on the series.

Each Afidano humidor includes a built-in fingerprint lock that limits access to authorised users while giving you instant entry with a touch — no keys or codes to manage. It adds an extra layer of security and peace of mind for valuable collections.

Afidano humidors use a simple top-fill reservoir (bottom-fill on the entry B1), and the unit prompts you when it is time to refill. A water-level alarm sounds if you add too much, so keeping humidity stable takes very little effort.

Most Afidano models have a full Spanish-cedar interior, while the entry B1, B2 and B4 use a moulded interior with Spanish-cedar shelves. All keep cigars in the correct climate, but a full-cedar interior maximises aroma and moisture buffering, which matters most for long-term aging.

Larger Afidano cabinets are heavy and may ship on a pallet or with two-person, curbside delivery to the nearest accessible street-level point. Please make sure access conditions allow delivery, and inspect the packaging for visible damage before signing for it.

Customers are advised to refuse signing the proof of delivery (POD) and report the damage directly to the driver. Please ensure photos of the outer packaging and the delivery receipt are taken immediately and forwarded to customer service for prompt claims processing.

Afidano humidors include a 2-year warranty within the EU (one year outside the EU), covering defects in materials and workmanship, in addition to your statutory consumer rights. Keep your invoice and warranty card for any claim.

Yes. As an online consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date you receive your order. Items should be returned unused, complete and in their original packaging; please contact us first so we can authorise the return.

Maintenance is minimal: refill the reservoir when prompted, keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from heating or cooling vents, and check the climate periodically through the app. The Spanish-cedar interior and HPR system handle the rest.

Afidano strongly advises using your humidor as a freestanding appliance. Enclosing it restricts ventilation, leading to excessive heat build-up that can burn out the compressor and void your warranty.
